Dreamchazer Gets Accepted Into SMU Band

Dasani Figueroa, a freshman at Southern Methodist University and a new Dreamchazer to the program this year. She was having a hard time trying to financially make it through her freshman year at SMU. But Dasani kept on moving forward knowing that God has something in store for her if she just hold on. Dedicated to stay at SMU instead of dropping out do to her financial situation. Dasani decided why not audition for the SMU Band. And you know what she got accepted! Dasani even receive scholarship money just for being in the band. AND she gets to travel with the SMU Basketball team during their run for the NIT Basketball Tournament. KUDOS...for sticking with it Dasani!

Dasani is a freshman majoring in Computer Science this year. She is a very bright and intelligent young lady that is along looking this year for an internship.
