Alexis Richardson, Class of 2020
Ms. Alexis Richardson, former Clearpath Discovery student, has been accepted into the NuSteam - Nuclear Science In Texas To Enhance And Advance Minorities Program. This is a collaborative program between University of Houston, University of Texas - Rio Grande Valley, University of Texas - El Paso, and Prairie View A&M University. By which her school Prairie View A&M, is where Alexis is attending right now working on becoming a doctor in the health field. Through this Summer Program, Alexis will be working at University of Houston getting hands-on laboratory experience in nuclear and high energy data analysis, neutrino and dark matter data analysis, phenomenological modeling of data from RHIC and LHC, radiation physics studies, machine learning applications in nuclear physics, detector calibration and electronics testing.
Alexis has always been a bright and intelligent young lady who is very ambitious on becoming a doctor and eventually moving back to Dallas to open up her own practice. Clearpath Discovery salutes Alexis for her magnificent accomplishment and many more achievements to come.
